Welcome to this practice! Here is some information to make your pre and post-session experience smooth. If you do not find answers to your questions, feel free to reach out: kristen.papac@gmail.com
What do I need to prepare for a virtual session?
Please prepare a healing intention. If you need help we can discuss your healing intention together at the beginning of the session. You will need a comfortable place to recline or lie down, and an internet connection. I will send a Zoom link shortly before the session begins. We will stay together as you rest and receive, communicating as much or as little as you need.
Should I come to a session sick?
In the new reality of virtual healing, you most definitely can be sick and receive healing energies. In fact, I encourage you to do so to help speed the process of any illness, including COVID-19.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept credit cards, Venmo, and Paypal.
How much does this cost? Session fee structures have changed due to our new reality with COVID-19. See Booking & Fees
How soon should I book another session?
The frequency is very much up to you! If we are working to shift a complex situation, then weekly is the best rhythm. If there is stagnation, monthly tends to be very helpful. Check-ins can happen at any time and can align with your life goals, seasonal changes, or known stressors like the holiday season.
What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable clothes that you can easily move in. Energy therapy occurs in a comfortable position and I want you to be able to rest. Be prepared to remove big jewelry, watches, and belts. You will also take off your shoes.
What is your late cancellation policy?
Life happens! A minimum of 24 hours notice is required if you need to cancel a session. If you miss the 24-hour window, you will be responsible for the full fee for service if the session cannot be scheduled that same week.
What is Energy Medicine? Glad you asked!
What conditions do you treat? Glad you asked!
Why Medicine?
Medicine comes from the Latin [ars] medicina, from medicus (physician), from medeor (to heal). The root mad- or med- occurs in several languages: middle Persian madha (medical science, wisdom); Sanscrit medha (intelligence, wisdom); ancient Greek medos (advice), medomai (to think about). Although I am not a licensed medical doctor, nor do I dispense medical advice in the Western medicine sense, I feel strongly that medicine is the appropriate term for working with your subtle energy body.
What is a Subtle Energy Body? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subtle_body
If I already have done some therapeutic work and meditate on my own, why would I need your help? Great Question! For starters: when one or more people work together energetically, our own energy bodies are amplified. It is also important to learn tools for opening and awakening your energy body, and learning how to close down the subtle energies, which I practice in each session. Beyond that, I have been trained in this healing modality, and have been practicing this work on myself and friends and family for over 10 years. I believe we all have access to this work and am excited to begin this journey with you as a trusted advisor. Also, we can go deeper with my courses coming Fall 2021!
What happens if I need other support?
I have strong connections with a number of other wonderful practitioners of a variety of modalities. We can figure out together what you might need to compliment the healing work.
When and why do packages expire?
At the moment, packages are optional. In this time of great change, the most important thing is making sure that sessions are available to all who need them.
